Born in Cape Town in 1945. Launched at 80.Gail’s connection to Cape Town began during the Second World War. Her father served in the Royal Navy and was stationed there in 1943. Gail was born in the city two years later, and it is the place that gave CAPE by Gail its name.Decades later, Gail became the inspiration for a skincare brand built around a simple belief: Beauty has no expiration date. Starting something new at 80 is part of her story, and we hope it encourages others to feel confident in their skin at every age.Our first product, Serum 1, brings peptides, niacinamide and hydrating ingredients together in a fragrance-free formula for everyday use. It’s the beginning of CAPE by Gail: a brand with its roots in Cape Town and Gail at its heart.
